Soundtrack Friday in Sicily

"Ah yes, shed tears!" is a beautiful dirge which is one of scores of Holy Week in Sicily, being executed in the wake of the Good Friday processions that take place in almost all of the cities' island, especially at Agrigento Province, where is believed to have its origin.
In fact, although seen by many as an unknown artist, while others consider the compound in the second half of 'Dr. 800. Eugenio Di Stefano (1825 - 1882), a doctor of Raffadali, in the province of Agrigento, and after about 1850 he married an Aragonese, and went to live in Aragona (AG), where he composed, in addition to this track, another dirge: "Vere Filius."
